I tried iems I tried good headphones but with like 5 minutes of EQ I can get my gaming headset to be better so learn EQ or get good
I actually agree with you for most gaming headsets, a lot of them are overpriced and don’t sound that great.
But I think there are exceptions now. I upgraded from IEMs like the Aria Snow to the Audeze Maxwell, and the difference in sound quality was honestly huge, way better clarity, separation, and overall balance.
At that point it doesn’t even feel like a typical “gaming headset,” it just feels like good headphones that happen to have gaming features.
So yeah, most gaming headsets aren’t worth it, but I wouldn’t say all of them are a waste anymore.

Not exactly on topic, but “gaming chairs” is the biggest scam there ever was on the market

My turtle beach px 22 (first headset ever) was a game changer, on my ps3 back then.
Anything with the word “gaming” in front of it
