LG전자, 미 컨슈머리포트 ‘가장 믿을만한 종합가전 브랜드’
LG Electronics has been ranked as this year’s most reliable home appliance brand… in a survey by the American publication Consumer Reports.
The survey of Consumer Reports members covers more than 600-thousand appliances purchased over the past decade, including cooktops, ovens, microwaves,… and where LG is the market leader washing machines.
Among companies that make products in all the categories, LG got the top ranking with 76 points.
Respondents were asked whether their appliances broke or stopped working as they should, which Consumer Reports used to estimate how well a brand’s new models will hold up in the first five years of use.

What a fake report probably made by LG because everything I have owned from LG has had problems/ of course they did say the first 5 years so maybe all my LG items are 6 years old. I used to love LG everything now I am never going to own anything from LG
This report is probably sponsored by LG. The LG brand today is going downhill, FAST. LG fridges are notorious for failing and compressors going bad, I would never buy a LG fridge in USA, ever. I have a friend who has LG washer and dryer, they have been working ok for past 10 year. They also have had LG dishwasher for 1 year that works ok. But my sister who has LG refrigerator in USA, she say no way, stay away because it keeps breaking down and her food spoiling. Never ever buy LG refrigerator, they make them to intentionally brake so LG can make more money off customer, very very bad fridges they making now.
This must be “Fake News”. Read all the reports on how they have had multiple lawsuits for failing to fix a known linear compressor issue. I can attest that their service for warranty repair is fake. I will be joining the class action. LG is trying to force arbitration but I do not trust them and it is just their stall effort. LG will never be in my house again…..any product. It is a business culture that is so bad with this company….avaid LG!
Neither my new washer or 84 inch TV made it two years. RUN… not worth the ordeal of numerous overseas customer service calls and failed resolutions.
